The Diploma of Accounting at TAFE Queensland is an excellent qualification for students who want a career in the stimulating and rewarding world of accounting. Students on this course will learn how to prepare income tax returns, manage budgets and forecasts. Prepare financial reports, implement and maintain internal control procedures and provide management accounting information.
This program prepares students for the academic requirements the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) sets for registration as a BAS agent. Students are encouraged to undertake work experience to further their skills and make themselves more employable.
