On the Certificate program, students learn about child development before learning how to provide care to children in a variety of environments, including how to plan activities, how to facilitate leisure and play and achieve developmental outcomes, health and safety and accident prevention.
After the Certificate, students can go on to study at Diploma level and prepare to work in a variety of services including day care, primary schools, out of school hours care, care coordinator, holiday programs and play centres.
